We are a newly formed community association which has been formed to bring together the Shetland LGBT community and public bodies and agencies to work together in ensuring Shetland is an equal, safe and welcoming place.

We will be working to provide accessible information about LGBT & gender identity issues for anyone who wants to better understand this community as well as promoting a healthy society which is knowledgeable and understanding of this segment of the community.

While sexuality and gender do not define us they are core elements of our personality and to deny or repress this in ourselves can impact our mental wellbeing, through the provision of information we hope that understanding and knowledge will add to the development of good mental health provision within Shetland.
